1. Visa Types & Requirements #
Participants travelling to Bali for the World Congress may enter Indonesia using several visa options. The most commonly used is the Visa on Arrival (VOA) or the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e‑VOA). This visa is designed for short visits, including conferences and official meetings, and allows a 30‑day stay that can be extended once. Delegates should ensure their passports are valid for at least six months beyond their arrival date and that they hold a return or onward ticket.
Some nationalities not eligible for VOA must apply for a Single‑Entry Visit Visa in advance via the official immigration portal. ASEAN nationals may be eligible for visa‑free entry for up to 30 days, although this option is not extendable and may not always align with conference requirements.
2. Official Immigration Links #
To ensure smooth entry, all visa information and applications should be completed only through the official Directorate General of Immigration website. The e‑Visa system provides guidance, eligibility lists, requirements, and application forms. Delegates are encouraged to verify their visa category and apply early.

3. Bea Cukai – Electronic Customs Declaration (E‑CD) #
Upon arrival in Indonesia, all international travellers must complete the Electronic Customs Declaration. This online form allows you to declare goods, currency, and personal items. It should be completed within 72 hours before arrival, after which a QR code is generated. This QR code must be presented at Customs before exiting the airport.
