The World Congress on Probation and Parole is a biennial event that brings together practitioners, researchers, and policymakers from around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss advancements in probation and parole practices. The inaugural Congress, organized by the Confederation of European Probation (CEP), was held in October 2013 with the aim of exploring and addressing the evolving practices of probation to better support offenders in their rehabilitation journey.
